vBar 2.2 is available now.
- With yet another major contribution from Jonathan Misurda, vBar now supports Windows Mobile 5 QVGA & VGA icons automatically.
- Fix task list overlapping in Windows Mobile 5 QVGA.
- Provide Tap & Hold option for CLOSE. The default behavior is still CLOSE, not MINIMIZE.
- Battery indicator now looks a bit like battery for easier recognization.

| When vbar is installed on a Dell Axim x51v with Windows Mobile 5.0, and while wireless is activated, it freezes up when navigating WLAN Utility pages. (specifically "Configure Wireless Networks" under "Setting" button.) It is also unable to close the Modem Link page. (But this is a problem with 5.0, because it can't stop it under Memory/Running Programs either without an "End Task.") This is a very popular model, so it may need a fix. Otherwise works great! |

Too bad that the color options do not work. Only the option to add a background picture works. Hope this will be fixed. I have seen this is noticed by others as well. Another good suggestion would be to add a default option 'Home' as first option in the menu. This brings me home without pressing the red hangup key on WM5..
Is there a way that I can assist in development? Is it possible to make a Dutch translation?
best regards,
Paul |

I installed version 2.1 in my Dopod 828 Pro. When I open "Text Messages" for instance, and I press the OK hardware button, the application disappears but doesn't close completely. I have to tap on the arrow, and close "Text Messages" on the drop down menu.
Can you enhance your program so that when I press the OK button, the active application closes too. |

Hi,
This is a fantastic piece of software. Highly recommended. It does exactly what I want, except recently I have upgraded to WM6 and the colour is a problem. There are also the odd other little prob too that others have mentioned here.
I would love get involved in developing this brilliant little application further. Email me if you are interested.
Many thanks, Adam yewl_do@hotmail.com |

Thanks to the developers for this program! I use it for several years allready and like it very much.
Recently I've bought a new PDA wich has a Windows Moblie 6.0 installed on it. On new PDA I can't close standart "Programs" and "Settings" windows. There are just no buttons to close them. Can anyone close this windows in Windows Mobile 6.0 (or 5.0)? |
