There are a number of options available to configure the looks and feels of the windows, the behavior of displaying files or folders, or the features of different functions. The following are all the options available in PE Explorer Series. Some options are not available depending on the product.

Edit Label: Allow folder name to be edited in place.
Has Buttons: Add a button to the left side of each parent folder.
Has Lines: Enhance the graphic representation of a folder tree by drawing lines that link subfolders to their corresponding parent folder. This style does not link folder at the root of the tree.
Lines At Root: Link folder at the root of the tree by drawing lines. Enable both Has Lines and Lines At Root styles.
Show Select Always: Causes a selected folder to remain selected when the tree window loses focus.
High Speed: Speed up the display of folder tree by always showing a + sign by the folder.

Single Select: Allow multiple or single selection of files or folders.
Edit Label: Allow file or folder name to be edited in place.
No Label Wrap: Displays file or folder text on a single line in icon view. By default, file or folder text can wrap in icon view.
No Column Header: Specify that a column header is not displayed in Details view. By default, columns have headers in Details view.
No Sort Header: Specify that clicking a column header in Details view does not sort the list.
Default View: Select the default view when PE Explorer first starts up. You can choose among Details view, Large Icons view, List view and Small Icons view.
Notes

When you use the Details view, you can select the columns that you want to be visible, change the column width, and rearrange the column display order.
To select the columns that you want to be visible, check the name of the columns.
Click on the number by column name, enter the new width to change the column width.
To change the column display order, select the column name, click on button Up or Down to move the column name.

High Speed: Speed up the display of folder tree by always showing a + sign by the folder.
Update Zip File Automatically: After double click on a file inside the mounted zip archive to view or edit that file, you can specify if whether to update the zip archive automatically if the file is modified.
Compression Level: You can select the default compression level (from 0 to 9) used to compress the files. Compression level 0 indicates no compression, thus the fastest. Compression level 9 indicates the most compression rate, thus the slowest. By default, an optimized compression level 6 is used.
Ftp options shows a list of ftp sessions saved. You can click on button Add to add more session, or click on button Remove to remove the selected session, or click on button Edit to edit the selected session.
When clicking on button Add or Edit, the
following screen is shown, allow you to add or modify the Ftp session. This
is the same screen when clicking on menu File, pointing to Add Ftp
Server. See Add Ftp Server.

Net options shows a list of mapped network shares sessions saved. You can click on button Add to add more session, or click on button Remove to remove the selected session, or click on button Edit to edit the selected session.
When clicking on button Add or Edit, the following screen is shown, allow you to add or modify the Net session. This is the same screen when clicking on menu File, pointing to Map Network Drive. See Map Network Drive.

You can click on the button ... to browse the entire corporate windows network and the network share resources so that you don't have to enter the network share resource information here manually. If there is no network session in used, the following screen will appear prompting for the authentication information. You can just enter your authentication information of your Windows desktop.

The following screen is a sample of a small network and network share
resources. Select the network share resource you want to map, click button OK,
the information needed for mapping the network share resource are filled
automatically.
